Chocolate Cherry Cake
1 box fudge cake
1 21 oz. can of cherry pie filling
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. almond extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all 4 ingredients together.
Stir until all cake mix combined. Pour into a greased pan.
Will make two 9 inch round (bake 25 minutes), 9 x 13 (30 minutes)
or a 15 x 10 jelly pan (30 minutes).
Chocolate Icing
1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter softened
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c cocoa powder
– Slowly add 1 teaspoon of milk, at a time, until achieving desired consistency.
Allow cake to cool and then frost.
