Itzhak Perlman enjoys superstar status rarely afforded a classical musician. “Since the late 1960s, Perlman has reigned supreme among the world’s violinists” (The Washington Post). Perlman has performed with every major orchestra and at venerable concert halls around the globe. He has performed multiple times at the White House, was granted a Kennedy Center Honor in 2003 and has won four Emmy Awards and fifteen Grammys, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
